Putting it all together.
By role, I am an adman. A suit. An account service director. Whatever you want to call us folks that manage client relationships and the talented teams that bring a brief to life; I have been that person for many years with a range of experience that I continue to improve.
And, I play the drums. But, I digress.
So, advertising. A medium of visual art combined with persuasive communication. Somehow that resonated with me when I was growing up and playing in bands. If I wasn’t going to make it big by rocking out on stages, then at least I was going to be in an industry that does encourage you to be creative day-in and day-out.
So, here I am…motivated by how a team can process a brief. Dream up words and images that enable an audience to feel connected. Rebel or become entertained. And, to further encourage that audience to be a part of something big; in this case, a brand’s culture. Sounds like music to my ears.
